Ingredients
- 1 stick of butter
- 198 g dark brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 125 g flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Double handful toasted walnuts
- Overflowing handful of chocolate chips
- Scant handful with dried cranberries
Method
Preheat oven to 350.
Brown the butter, being sure to use a rubber spatula to scrape out all the delicious brown bits.
Stir in a cup of dark brown sugar and then beat in the egg.
Gently stir in the flour, then the mix-ins.
Transfer the batter to a baking dish (8” sq or loaf tin).
Bake for ~25 minutes. It will still be a bit gooey in the middle, but not raw.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Slice once fully cool into tiny squares. Trust me, a tiny square is definitely a serving!
